Built-in Microsoft Office 365 backup functions may be not sufficient for reliable data restore. Acronis Backup protects your organization’s Office 365 mailboxes by putting a copy of your data under your control to local storage or to reliable Acronis Cloud Storage. Recover office 365 mailboxes at a granular level or search and preview backups right in the management console and recover only the email you need.

Acronis provides data protection and disaster recovery solutions for Microsoft Office 365 to help your employee users remain productive and protect their Office 365 mailboxes. With Acronis Backup 12.5, enjoy quick and easy backup speeds with multi-streaming, encrypt data in transit and at rest, search and preview emails in a touch friendly, mobile-enabled web console, and recover emails, calendars, tasks, and contacts directly from your cloud backup.

To back up and recover Microsoft Office 365 mailboxes, you must be the global administrator in Microsoft Office 365 account and have the Acronis Backup 12.5 Agent for Office 365 installed on a Microsoft Windows machine that is connected to the Internet. Simply sign in as a global administrator to Microsoft Office 365, select the office 365 mailboxes that you want to back up, and click Backup. To select a backup location, click Where to back up, select a previously used, predefined backup location, or click Add location to specify a new backup location.

You can then choose to back up to acronis cloud storage, a local or network folder, Network File Storage (NFS), a Secure Zone, or a Shared File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) location. With Acronis Backup 12.5 Advanced, you can also back up to a storage node or tape device. By default, backups are performed daily, Monday to Friday. You can select the time to run the backup and can schedule a backup to run by events, instead of by time.

With Acronis Backup 12.5, the scheduling parameters depend on the backup destination. If you are backing up to cloud storage, backups are performed daily — Monday to Friday — by default. You can select the time to run the backup and you can easily change the backup frequency.

It is very easy to recover an office 365 email that a user deletes using Acronis Backup 12.5. Start by clicking Microsoft Office 365 in the Acronis backup console, select the office 365 mailbox that originally contained the items that you want to recover, and then click Recovery. You can search mailboxes by name and if the entire mailbox was deleted, you can select it on the Acronis Backups tab, and then click Show backups. Select a recovery point and click Recover > Email messages. You can now search for the email that you want to recover by subject, sender, recipient, or date. When an email message is selected, you can click Show content to view its contents, including attachments. You can also click the name of an attached file to download it.

Most affordable backup solutions for a Small Business. The best cloud backup solution to backup a SQL Database, a File Server, and a Microsoft Exchange Server. The dashboard is very clean and shows your tasks has a one click to the log events, also the ability to see the time elapsed and statistics of a job, as well identifies your backup locations. Acronis according to me still remains the most power full, stable, powerful, complete and most easy to use cloud backup software. Its easy to install agents and deployment across all the platforms makes it the most recommendable backup solution for all virtual environments, physical machines, files and folders and applications.
